Terms of service

Last updated: 8 October 2026

These terms apply when you visit our website or buy from Melt and Mug (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them.

Who we are

Melt and Mug sells fondue mugs and related products online. Contact us at service@meltandmug.com.

Products and prices

We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can, but colours may look slightly different on your screen. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT where it applies. We may change prices at any time; the price you pay is the price shown when you place your order.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send a shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, for example because of a pricing error, a stock problem or suspected fraud, and we will refund anything you have paid.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.

Delivery and returns

Delivery is described in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds, including your 14-day right to change your mind, are described in our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

Safe use of our products

  • Use the mug with a suitable tealight candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from anything flammable.
  • Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep it away from children and pets.
  • The mug and its contents can be hot. Let the mug cool fully before washing it gently with warm soapy water.
  • Follow the instructions supplied with your product.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and designs, belongs to Melt and Mug or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for products that are faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for damage caused by using a product against its instructions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Courts in the Netherlands have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
